factory ammo for a rem 700 22-250

I just picked up a remington 700 sps in 22-250. what factory does this rifle shoot the best?

Never really know until you try some different brands and bullet weights. That being said my 700VS really likes the Win 'USA' 45gr hollow points usually sold in the 40 round bulk packs. It will consistently shoot 1/2 to 1" groups at 100 yards in my rifle.

Every rifle is an individual, and no one can say what ammo it will shoot best. You have to try some, as AB.boy said.

This is the one I would try: Federal Premium V-Shok, P22250B, 22-250 Rem, 55 Grain, SGKBTHP, 20rds

The bullet is the Sierra GameKing BTHP.

Depends, my M-700 doesnt really like the 45gr. factory stuff. Mind you when I hand load the group shrink if I get the bullets closer to the lands. The factory stuff has quite the jump.

I shoot these also,mainly to get some fireformed brass then load them up with a hefty load of varget and 50gr v-max.Drops yotes like a sac of wet cement.
