I've seen all sorts of factory ammo rejects including no primer, backwards primer, wrong brass, short brass, tall brass, backwards bullets, bullets with no lead core and just misshapen or damaged ammo.

But no rim is a new one for me!

I was the one who posted this picture to Reddit. After much squinting through a magnifying glass, it does actually say 9 mm. The light must have just been right to make the 9 look like an 8 in the pic.

^ That is something i didnt know but I doubt that's what this is since it's primed. I have one of those somewhere myself so I guess it's a thing with Barnaul. I also had a Zinc plated round that was too wide at the web to chamber. QC is not a priority at that price point.

I realized tonight, that this round would shoot fine in my 9mm/357 Ruger Blackhawk. I am not a collector of such junk, so that will get rid of it.
