Factory Glock Night Sights

Who makes them? Mep? Trijicon? Glock themselves? I have them on my G17 and have AE printed in white on the side, and Glock & MH3 engraved on the tops.

Whatever they are, and other than the fact the front is staked on... are they decent? Thx.

I thought they all had a set screw to hold them down

i believe they are Mepros, where "AE" is the date code as /w German guns (a=0, b=1, ...)

so you have mep sights made in 2004

They are built by glock, with Meprolight lamps.

I have seen two types of night sights on glocks - Mepro type and Trijicons. I personally like the Trijicons more for precise shooting while the Mepros seem to be better "combat" sights with the seemingly bigger dots.

The MH3 are the Mepro type.
