I think by sig. There is a dealer with a used one, his ad says factory refurbished.

Factory refurbs from both Sig and Glock are top notch. Both tear the gun down and replace any part that has wear on it. Glock will refinish the slide but Sig will not. For the price it is an excellent deal I think.
I would buy with confidence.

Oh yeah. the refurbs rule. I've held and shot refurbs from both Glock and Sig. Terrific, particularly Glock.

I pulled my Sig 226 refurb apart when I got it...if there was a used part in it, I couldn't tell. They are first class!

I'm not too impressed buy the new vs. refurb SIG prices I've seen..........not much incentive to buy the refurb over a new piece.

MY CONCLUSION IS THAT I HAVE NOT SEEN ENOUGH PRICE DIFFERENCE TO WARRANT NOT BUYING NEW.

That's a pretty good price for an a P226ST. My dad bought his for $1250 a few months ago, and that was the lowest price I've seen up to that point.

Factory refurbs cost too much in Canada. They go for 2/3 those prices if not 1/2 in the USA.

I paid $800 for my refurb 226, and like I said, it seemed brand new to me. I took the $300 that I saved and bought a S&W 17-6 that I have wanted for a long time....

When SIG refurb a pistol, the only things that aren't addressed are the finish (it is what it is) and the tritium sights.

I just bought a refurb from P&D. Haven't shot it, yet. Everything seems good. The finish was excellent, but after 3-4 times in the new leather holster, the blueing was starting to show wear. Disapointed in that.......

That's a good price. I would have done the same as you, but I never saw a stainless for that price, used or refurb in Canada.
Is yours stainless finish?
