does anybody know where I might find one of these? they are out of production, like most of big green's other products. too bad because Remington did manufacture a full lineup of rifles and shotguns from good quality general use toys up to the Remington custom shop high end stuff. anyway thanks in advance for at least looking at this thread, maybe some small shop in rural sask or manitobe has one gathering dust on the shelf.

Choate makes a couple of side folders for the 870 , they look heavy duty.
yeah thanks guys, I was looking at some reviews of the remmy side folder and the general consensus was positive but it hardly matters if they are non existent. I looked up the choate folder, made of steel and some kind of polymer. seems a lot of people like it for being quite strong and locking up tight. if a Remmy folder ever shows up I'd buy it just to try it but I think the choate is the ticket. Chisel machine make a folder but the price tag is insane, so off I go to buy a choate.
