So, just wondering what a fair price for a 2 year old factory target barrel off a ruger 10/22 would be? It has limited use, probably 2-300 rounds down it, and in good shape.

If anyone has an opinion or has sold one lately let me know, thanks.

Price

About half of the original price is a starting point.

You say only about 300 rounds fired? Seems a bit low.

Also, just WHY is the other person selling it? Is it still on the rifle, and if so can you shoot it yourself to see what it will do?

BTW you really didn't have a brain fart---you did say it was a Ruger 10-22 factory target barrel in your original post.

It's my barrel, just bought another barrel (Dlask) and was thinking I'd sell this one.

I don't get out much with it, I'd say the 2-300 round mark is accurate.

You should give more info regarding your target barrel.

In the last 2 years, Ruger put on their guns
target barrels in 2 lenghts: 20" and 16.25".

If your barrel is hammer forged,
you can see the helix striations along the outside contour,
and you should say so.

Is it blued or stainless???
Is it gloss finish or flat?

These barrels, while they can be a lottery sometimes,
it is not un-usual to find an ammo that would group decently out of them.
If you want to sell, I believe you can give better info (if you know it)
if you say sumpin like
"it holds 3/4" (or 7/8", or 1" or whatever) with Lapua Standard Plus @ 50yds)"
or whatever the case may be.

The hammer forged barrel, depending on the above data
and on its condition, usualy can bring (used as 300 rnds.) a price of
anywhere between $100 and $130.
