Factory Virgin needs Price Check on 12 Gauge Target shells

Hello all!!

I have come to a most terrible realization!!

I am a Die Hard re-loader, however, a recent analysis has show that I am to the point in my 12 gauge component stash where, the next purchase in components makes it simply cheaper to purchase factory. $50 a bag of shot just does not make it worth while.

As such I am wondering if you fine gentlemen would help a "Factory Virgin" out and what you guys are paying for your trap target loads.

I'm talking about Winchester Super target, and similar Remington loads.

The going rate seems to be about $4 a box if you buy it by the flat, or about $4.75 in 5 box packs ($24 at Cdn tire). Individual boxes are $5 or 6 at Wholesale Sports.

I think 4.00 was last years price, now it's up to 4.50 at least where we are getting it from. Individual boxes are more obviously. I still know a couple of diehards reloading but most buy now.
