Got quite a surprise on Sunday at range had good load for my Rem 700 in 30.06.
Win brass, 168grSMK RL19 Fed gold match Primers and cases where neck turned etc a 3 shot group at 100 and 4 shot at 300 with 168gr and 165 gr nosler BT lower group

I loaded up this same load for my Rem model 30s in 30.06 this gun has fired 2000 ++ rounds, I cleaned gun with Hoppes benchrest 12 times still green patches, lots of copper over the years, used Sweets and cleaned with Hoppes no more green patches, I really thought gun was pretty well over the hill it would keep reloads around 1.5" at 100
I fired a 4 shot group at 100 and 300 yards with reloads and 4 shot with new Winchester 165 gr PSP the scope was a problem for me at 300 the cross hairs on old Weaver K6 where to big.
Look what happened.
