Fair market value of a restricted Makarov 380 Baikal pistol?

Trying to find the value of these pistols in 2018... these were the ones that were for sale in Canada about 6-8 or so years ago (Intrammo?) with the restricted barrel.

Can't seem to find any info on them at this point. Are they still for sale anywhere? My guess is no.

I have been following the prices. Interammo sold them back in 2011 for $399+tax+shipping. Over the years the used prices climbed from around $500 to $800. East German and Russian restricteds go for $1300-1500. Current fair price for the MP-71 is somewhere $650 - $800 depending on the number of mags and other accessories.

Good luck finding one! Or if you want to sell one it will sell in 5 minutes.
 
I knew the original ones were a lot more... Why has the price basically doubled in 5 years of the newer ones? Simply due to supply and demand laws I imagine? No more new ones on the market and they have become somewhat of a collectable?

Older ones converted to restricted seem to carry a higher price due to collectibility. The Baikal ones imported by Interammo were new ones and purpose built with a longer barrel for the Canadian market ...... they are no more .... import ban. There was one at Milarm auction earlier in the year at Wards Auctions ..... they publish the sell prices and you could find it listed there still ... I think it went for somewhere between $700-900 plus a buyers premium. Seemed high to me.

The original price was only $400 when Interammo could get them .... dollar was better then and they were still available.
