Fair price for a C96 Broomhandle

Most of the C96's are restricted. 1750 seems a bit steep to me unless it is in close to original mint condition.

could be a good deal, could be a rip off, condition is everything....I've seen them go for 400 for junkers, to over 3000 with stock and all accessories.....so it could be a fair price or not.....pics?

That is how the gun is made...it is "one piece" with the only screw in the whole gun being the one holding to wooden grips together.

If I understand what you mean by "swirl marks" , that is the way they were made originally. If in good-very good condition, expect to pay 1300-2000, easily.

Swirl marks are just from the original machining. Condition is everything when it comes to these guns. The seller is asking 1750, what he'll take is something else. For a 7.63 in decent condition I would expect to pay 1500, so he's not out of the ballpark. At the end of the day, if you're happy with the quality of gun at the price you pay that's what really matters.
