Feels like I am never going to get this project finished. Kind of sort of considering selling. Has 40 rounds of Prvi SP down the pipe in total. Ambi carrier, tabbed, FAB Furniture, factory folder. Otherwise it is stock. Would likely only sell with one 5/30 as I have a shorty project in the works. Any info is appreciated...

Add up the cost of all the parts that you put into it, plus the gun, and start it off 5% or 10% below that and bump it down 5% at a time until it sells. Thats my method, and most buyers find it fair, while still moving the item fairly fast.
Or do what lots of guys do and add 35% because it is used and has a part bolted on.

This is just my take on things, but here it is:
used 58, $600
RT nitrocarbing, maybe $150
RT tab job...minus 50 IMO
ambi carrier...not worth much to me
fab furniture, again not worth much to me
missing nearly $150 in mags
I would personally pay maybe $750 for that gun if I wanted the ambi carrier...no more, and I would have to be a little drunk. Missing the mags really hurts the deal IMO.
That's just my take though.
Are these standard 5/30 858 mags we are talking about? The ones that Wolverine has listed for $25.50 each?

Wow, I guess I was stuck in the past...thinking of Marstar selling 4-packs for $189. I guess it's been a while since I bought spares for mine!
I think it's back up to $35 or so but that's what I paid for mine. I picked up 10 at that price.
I wish I hadn't modded the bolt carrier, the left handle is sort of just in the way when shooting with certain grips or positions. Neit's bolt release is a better solution IMO.
The purpose of this build was a bush gun/plinker I could beat the hell out of without much worry. That's why I went with the plastic furniture (mount cheap flashlight) and uncomfortable factory folder. I may sell it later on I have just come to realize I have better suited guns for the task and I have big plans for the other VZs I have on the way

Weird I was looking at picking some up just a couple weeks ago. Maybe i mistook the CSA mags for them or something.

Scroll down to the mags (page 6). The CSA 5.56 mags are $38.00, the CZ/CSA Factory 7.62x39 5/30 mags are listed for $25.50. I don't know if that is current or not, though.
