Fair price for unfired CZ 452 Varmint

I'm going to be selling my unfired, CZ 452 Varmint soon but I'm not quite sure what a reasonable price would be. I don't want to rip anyone off, but I also don't want to undervalue it by too much.

I still have the box, manual, test fire target, and everything that came with the rifle. It's brand new and unfired as stated above. It did come from the factory with a very minor scratch in the matte finish of the receiver about ¼" long and roughly the width of a hair. It's very fine and not visible from all angles. Easily touched up by whoever buys it to be undetectable. Barrel came very nicely free floated from the factory (not counting the lug).

I know prices on 452s have gone up a bit since they were discontinued... so what would you say is a fair price?

There are two in the EE right now and one at Reliable Gun a couple of days ago.

Prices have dropped a few Canadian Kopecks though.

Gopher Season is almost upon us and a few Snow Gophers have been harvested too.

Jack Rabbits have been taken for the pot in the few days and I am still awaiting for reports on Trophy Jackalopes .

Those reports just might drive up the price a couple of points. so in the mean time and between time check out the EE and a few site sponsors and get some comparisons there.

I bought a used 453 Varmint not long ago but it had beautiful dark figured wood and a set trigger...900 bucks.

When I originally posted i didnt take into the fact of the "small scrach part" I stand corrected

If it was Gem mint, new in box/Papers, I think 1000$ is a fair asking price for a 452 Varmint

Box/papers mean alot to some people and they will glady pay $100+ more

Small scratch to some people = they want it for half price

$800 sounds a bit more reasonable to me.

I'll snap a picture of the scratch and the wood as well. Hard to fully capture the scratch as it's only visible from certain angles.

This is as gnarly as I can make the scratch look with a light shining directly on it.

I'd clean the oil off and put a dab of bluing on the scratch.

What does this model sell for new in a store with taxes added ... ?
$200 less would be a fair price in my opinion.

I had to go see what 452s are selling for NIB, 1000$ seems fair. I'd get that before any of the 455/457 currently available. But I am a 452 fanboy.

The 1of1000 Tribute 452s are still available for $1000 so dont know if that helps.
