Hello all CZ gurus,

I got myself a Kadet .22 conversion from CZ that I am using on my CZ85 Combat frame. The conversion works flawlessly and accurately.

I do not have a need for my CZ85 comlplete slide anymore since I have another good 9mm unit.

What will be a fair price for the complete slide set? It consist of the slide with adjustable sights, barrel, slide stop, recoil spring and guide rod. The condition is perfect, less than 200 rounds through. Maybe if someone can give a breakdown values, it would be appreciated. I guess after selling the slide, I will be having no use for the mags either.

By the way, if I sell the upper slide assembly, what will be the procedure for re-registration? Do I need to re-register my unit as a .22 pistol?

Be unsurprised. I wouldn't expect there to be a big market. Most people buy their slide with the rest of the pistol, as you did, and never wear them out, so there won't be a lot of frames out there looking for a new slide. Perhaps an enquiry to a couple of CZ dealers about the cost of a new slide as a replacement part would give you a starting point.
