Yeah the finish does look rather odd, and look at the upper right corner of the trigger pack it looks like there is gap between it and the receiver.

I would assume real based on the fact that Ive never seen an airsoft with a paddle mag release and a 30rd CETME magazine in it, and the muzzle isnt painted orange and that from what I have heard is a requirement of US law.

My buddy in the USA has been selling AirSoft online for a while, I could send this pic to him and ask for you if you like. I am not positive, but I do not think in the USA that they have to have the red part on the barrel.

Decisions, decisions ... but if was your friends uncles cousins brother ... I'm going to say that it's real.
Nice G3 but why isn't it sporting the green slim line forestock or on the other hand where's the bipod?

My sons uncles brother showed me this one.

Definitely looks "wrong/airsoft" to me ... The finish as others have stated, and also as other have stated, the ejection port looks wrong.

I wet myself a tad looking at those pics. It's prohibited in Canada?
(That gun is prohibited, not wetting yourself; damn my sentences are still ambiguous, how do the judges do it?)

Thats a importation law, once its in the country painted barrel or not its treated as a firearm in the USA and like you, I do not believe they need to stay red once they get inside the country, thats why a lot of Asian Airsoft dealers ship with both, but keep the orange one installed on the gun to pass customs.
