Falcon CQB Vs Millet DMS ?

I'm on a DMS-1 crusade right now as I've recently picked up one for 50-200 yard use on an 16" AR.
I'm sure you'll see my gushings on other scope related threads
It really excels at 100 Yards and below. 200 yards is still useable but I'm a crappy shot so no use blaming the equipment
.
Things I like:
1. The price
2. The build quality
3. The ergos
4. The reticle
5. The magnification suits what I use a scope for.
6. The dealer I bought from (P&D Ent.)
Things I wish were not there (but not a reason for not picking the DMS-1).
1. The weight.
2. The reticle washes out to black in daylight on bright surfaces
3. It's not a direct replacement for Red Dot (but I/You knew that)
I plan on keeping this scope.
100y 1x mag, minimum intensity
100y 1x mag, maximum intensity
100y 4x mag, max intensity shows contrast between white and dark background (washout)
100y 4x (4:30 pm Eastern, February)
(Um scope wasn't mounted for these pics )
When the red illuminator fully washes out... which it does a lot.... it just goes black.
in pics 3 and 4 the crosshair appear redish... this is just because I wasn't square with the objective when snapping the pic.

Yah i know i sent you a pm about how it was overpriced . i got one new from mike at allen gun works for 355 shipped thats new in box no smudge . you were asking 400 for yours at the time . your response was "we'll see i got time on this one " thanks for the FYI
I think Ona's right. It's kinda like going for multiple org@asms. The first one.... Oh Yeah!!!!
the second.... not so much.
Maybe, again.... most likely I'm just doing it wrong.
Getting a good scope and following it with another good scope is anticlimactic. B you need to justify a Leupy or a Trij.
I remember the day I bought two AR's in one day. They arrived and I didn't know which one to touch first.
I can't shoot the "second" one at the same time so, Pfft. It wasn't worth the same. Except I get to say "Look at me I have two ARs"
2 different rifles so i need two scopes was thinking of going with falcon on both , but have been reading good reviews on the millet on ar 15.com havent seen a side by side on both yet . so was hoping someone here might have owned both . One is for my robarms Xcr and the other for a 14.5 inch Ar . The falcon will stay on my Xcr . but would like an magnified optic for my ar i have a bushnell acog looking illuminated T dot on it right now . so either would be a step up . i think i might just take the falcon into p&d and compare it to a dms in store. I have the falcon and two of my shooting buddies have the DMS. The big difference what they say is the reticle and the 1X for the DMS is great for close up shooting. The Falcon has the 1.5x, I have only shot one match with the Falcon so far and have not found it to cause any problems. I really like the Falcon and will be keeping it for awhile.
As far as the reticle goes, I didn't like the donut when I shot their guns. I enjoyed the traditional red point. Personal choice I guess. Both are good scopes and you can't go wrong either way.
