Falcon scope question

I ended up getting a Falcon Menace 4.5-18x56 scope for my Rem 700 :)

How come it doesn't say Falcon anywhere on it? just "Menace counter sniper series"

Anyways it didn't come with any instructions or any papers, even my tasco did...but it's not a big deal...I do have a question though; once I zero the gun in how do I set the turrets to 0? I know there are hex screws at the top but when I remove them and try to set the turrests to zero I can hear clicks so I assume I'd loose it if I tried to do that...

ps: what's the longest practical distance I can shoot .308 with this (18x) scope?
 
When you loosen the hex screw on the top of the turret, remove it and pull up on the turret. It should slide staight up and off, line up the "0" and then re-tighten the hex screw. It should feel snug coming off and going back on since there is an o-ring to keep it water proof.

I used my 10x Falcon Merlin series scope to shoot 800 yards. You should have no problems shooting it to any practical distance that you can see.

To add, make sure when you re-install the turret, you line up the teeth, so that they are between each other, so before tightening the screw, just test it left and right...;)
