I got a scope in a trade, and it came to me with the zoom ring not working.
I though I was screwed. I don't know if it got damaged in shipping or not. Anyway.
Canada post agreed to cover the repair.
Well Falcons scopes are made in China. Sold from England...
How am I going to get it fixed? cant.....
well Falcon tried to fix the scope with me, by suggesting to tighten the screw, but it did not work right, the motion of zoom was uneven.
So they told me to ship it to Frontier firearms or SFRC.
I shipped it to SFRC, and I was told that on the next shipment I will get a replacement scope at a symbolic price, that would be considered a "repair"
Well I am still waiting, and we will see how it turns out, and i will keep you guys updated.
Many people are worried about Falcon warranties, but Falcon reps are very friendly and didn't ditch me yet.
I know, I made 2 purchases on CGN, and 2 warranty claims in the same month. s**tty luck? Not a big deal as longest I don't get stuck with a broken scope.
Thumbs up for SFRC for being a good Falcon dealer. In this Industry customer service is important, since many parts and toys we buy are expensive. It can be make or brake type deal for success.
