With seemingly no end in sight to this covid crap, we are looking to this fall. Our 2020 rifle/archery whitetail in Michigan was lost to the closed border and it seems quite possible 2021 will be another nutshot. My brother and I are looking at booking a Canadian trip, probably with an outfitter. We have a solid group of 6-8 guys, but can size up or down depending. I'm looking for recommendations for Oct Nov Dec , dont even care the animal, though moose could be an issue as none of us have purchased tags in 4 years or so. All are experienced hunters and don't need to be babysat. Pretty self sufficient. Fly-ins could be an option, depending on cost. Would not want to be more than say 1500-2000 per guy.(is this way off?)
So who have you used?

Not much chance of finding an outfitter in Ontario that still has hunts or tags available for moose. I suggest start applying again to build your points in the new system. You can see online how many points you have already. Start calling Quebec outfitters to see if they have any hunts open. You can buy Bull tags over the counter, but must use an outfitter. Last fall there was native roadblocks that blocked many outfitters access.

Deer and bear easier to do.

I can recommend an outfitter for fly in hunts in Nakina, at 6-8 guys you should be right in your price range with a cow tag likely. Its quite nice when the boats start first pull, you've got a wood stove and a hot shower to look forward to as well
