FALLing Prices.... It's SIG SAUER SEASON!!!

SIG didn't name names... only said that they received complaints. But there's nothing new about that. Ever since we started selling SIG product there have been "complaints" from Canadian "distributors" about us. Our pricing makes it much more difficult for distributors to make money acting as "middle men".

I can't see these complaints coming from other CGN Sponsors since I'm not sure any other CGN Sponsors buy directy from SIG USA (at least not that I can think of). Most CGN Sponsors buy from SIG distributors (either here in Canada or in the US). We actually buy directly from SIG USA themselves. My guess is that one or more of the Canadian distributors for SIG complained... but that's just my guess... SIG didn't tell us and we didn't ask.

What makes me laugh is that we watch as other dealers have sales... under-cut our pricing... often advertising product for less than MAP pricing (which is the lowest price that SIG allows ANY dealer to advertise products at). Supposedly any dealer advertising below MAP pricing will be cut-off by SIG for breach of their dealership agreement (MAP Pricing Agreement)... yet we compete by having a sale (and we still comply with SIG's MAP pricing policy) and we get hit with an across the board price increase.

No-one said life was fair :)

We're not complaining... I don't blame anyone... it's the real world and we play by "big boy rules".

The only reason I posted anything is because people were trying to figure out what was going on and why the sudden change. Many guesses were being posted and I think people deserve to know the truth. I'm not about to BS people... truth is truth.

I appreciate the response. I hope you don't decide to drop the Sig line, but not many would blame you if you decided to go that route. I was lucky to get in on the sale for my Nightmare. But even at full price its a good deal.

Sig make a fine product and we NEED a stand-up dealer here in Canada. Thanks for the Great Service.

I ordered a Nitron Stainless in September and cannot wait to receive it. I just finished reading about the issues you are having with SIG right now and I have to say I am very impressed with your additude and professionalism. This SIG was the first gun I ordered from you but after reading about how you handle yourself and your business, it will not be the last.
Uh, any P239s coming anytime soon? Just kidding. Well, actually I am not.

If you get this issue straightened out with Sig I'm on board for a Sig 1911 Carry Stainless. Bought a used one a little while back which I was not happy with (previous owner screwed me, not the manufacturer) and I was planning to order a new one from your sale when the SHTF. I should have moved faster but who could have seen this coming?

Custom Order SIG's are back on the website and available for pre-orders.

We've been able to maintain US MSRP Pricing, at least for the time being.

The sale prices were better than the USA retail prices... I checked. These new prices would be regular retail price for Questar then.

you guys have any P220 combats in?

Our website inventory is real-time... so whenever you want to see what's in-stock just check the website.

An easy way to do this is to use the Advance Search button (located along the top of every page, second button from the right side). When you use the Advanced Search page just enter in the word "SIG" in that first box (this way you will only search items that have the word "SIG" in their part # CODE.

Now under "Search Product Fields" unclick the Name and Description boxes and click on the box next to te word "CODE". Then select the button that chooses "Only Items Currently in Stock". And finally using the drop down box labelled Product Categories, select "Firearms - Handguns".

This will give you a listing of All the In-Stock SIG Handguns and their details.

You can do this with pretty much everything on our website. Items shown in-stock will give the actual number that we have, up to the minute. It gets adjusted immediately and automatically, as people place orders.
