I keep coming back too these photos.

The one with the fella in the old style American cap on the left of the photo doesn't look much like he belongs there, and he's a collector not a fighter. His choice of firearms is not so much for functional or for war, but seems to be the best condition examples of what have been left lying around.

As for the "free" FALs, it would seem to me that a lot of people have died for those guns. And I hope that those who now have these guns, not only get too keep them, but can keep their next government from spilling even more blood. Freedom is never free. People die for it.

There's not a single StG44 in any of those pics. Lots of FAL's, some AK's.

The fact that "rebels" overthrew G-man still amazes me...guess even his troops didn't want him to stay in power. He has guns to arm Canada. Twice.
