The Swiss Arms 751 mags aren’t cheap either. $75 US, pinning and then importation to Canada would mean they’ll be not much cheaper (if at all) than the 542 mags.
Grrrr!
They could hit a home run in the USA and Canada with them if they make them affordable to the common man instead of just dental surgeons and stock brokers for f**k sake! lol
I've been humming and hawing over one for years but the price tag keeps me well at bay every time.
Other than that it's about exactly what I like in a battle rifle. Just can't justify the sticker for a stamped metal Swiss Arms knock off when you can buy a Swiss for about the same price.
Maybe it's just me?
I just saved money in an envelope and sold all my other #### for this rifle. It took me a long time.. I hope it lives up to my expectations. .
Perhaps, but Dominion Arms - associated to Canada Ammo sells their copy of the Swiss Arms 5.56 mags for $29. If they chose to do a similar copy of the SAN 751 .308 mags at a comparable price, then we would be in business. There is a way of doing this out there, but the will to do it is not there.
FWIW we have brought in 751 mags and they were larger than 542 mags and did not fit in the mag well. The Swiss Arms 751 mags aren’t cheap either. $75 US, pinning and then importation to Canada would mean they’ll be not much cheaper (if at all) than the 542 mags.
