Famae SG 542 Galil stock need a riser for a scope?

Hi guys


Any of you have experience with the new stock ( galil style ) for the Famae SG 542? at first look the stock look awesome but look very low. second option will be the Ar style adaptor with a magpul and riser .

Another option would be to get an AR adapter and one of the Magpul stocks. Like PRS or UBR.

But it's a 2 MOA battle rifle at best. So scope is not going to help you much. Front post covers 18" wide target at 100m. I painted a white vertical line in the center for more precise shots.

SG542 is very natural with non-folding stock. Light, well balanced and good cheek wield point for irons. You pretty much put your face down and your eyes line up with sights.

The problem with the AR Adapter is very expensive 315$ and the full new galil stock is 299$ , i change the stock because it was damage in transport !
