I just bought one , and was looking at some mags. Canada Ammo sells some, but they have two styles, one without locking tabs and one with.
I have written and called Canada Ammo with no response or reply. I am assuming the locking tabs are to lock the mags together. Can any one tell me if I am right

I believe you are right. The tabs are neat but can snag pouches.

Indeed, the tabs on the side of the magazine are to clip magazines together. They are indeed a nightmare for your pouches.
