Farewell Barney

Very sad to hear this news, my thoughts go out to the family.

I had the privilege to have worked with Barney each week at BRRC setting up each week for a year before I was able to take my blackbadge. He took the time to try and train me as a course designer for I was even able to shoot them.


When I knew him he sure wasn't fast but you could patch many targets with one patch, and who didn't get a kick out of his loads on the first Tuesday of the month! Revolver night was fun to see Barney's speedloaders they would be a mix of wadcutters, semi-wads, leads, fmj hp's and the loads veryed with them there sure was some magnums in the mix!

You will be missed.
 
It's not all bad... How many of us will still be shootin' when we're well into our 80's...?

one of the people I most enjoyed RO'ing and talking to. I wish I'd known him better, I've heard so many great stories about him. Best wishes to his family and friends, he will be missed.

Yes he was a great guy and great for our sport.. I remember just a couple years ago, helping him go thru a stage and assisting him to get down & up for a low port, etc... and of course he's going slow and taking his time having a blast and sure enough all "A" hits...
I hope we're all lucky as him to live long and shoot till we can.

My condolences to the family & RIP Barney. You'll be missed !!
