If you have a FAS (aka Domino) SP602 22LR target pistol, how do you like it? Is it reliable? Accurate? Any comparison to other makes, such as the Unique DES 69? The FAS pistols are available from time to time thru Trade Ex and the auction houses, but I've never seen one at the range. Some scattered on line comments out of the US suggest they are a bit finicky and require european ammo.

I bought one used in very good condition from a LGS a few month back. It’s well made, very accurate and definitely outshoot me. The design is very good and run flawlessly with CCI SV. Field strip is very easy without any tool. Search hard and I found a few posts on how to. Be aware it’s discontinued and difficult to find parts. Some shops in Europe may still have springs and etc in stock. But it seems it doesn’t need maintenance often.

The adjustable trigger is on par or better than S&W 41, the target grip superior for one hand shooting. However the mag is 5 round only and the top load makes it very difficult to add a red dot.

I've had and shot a 602 for a number of years now. It's a good pistol. Contrary to the comment above, it's trigger leaves that of a S&W 41 in the dust. The 41 offers minimal adjustability while the 602 has a myriad of adjustments. Sights are good. Factory grip is good and one can get aftermarket grips for it as well (Morini, Rink). Function is reliable with good ammo... Again, contrary to the poster above, CCI SV in cardboard boxes is inconsistent and has troubles in most of my pistols. The CCI SV in the 100rd plastic boxes is much better. Any other decent ammo is fine. Parts are indeed hard to find, but the pistol doesn't eat parts. The key advantage with this pistol is shot recovery time - it's easy to shoot a 10 second string with it for NRA or ISSF Standard Pistol. I've owned most of the pistols eligible for ISSF Standard Pistol and the 602 is one of the better ones for that match.

I shot a 601 , informal bulls eye, It was a great pistol, no recoil, My friendly gun supplier has some now, but I don't need any more 22's.
Mags could be a problem these days, haven't checked that out.

this is spot on
I am od same opinion

Been shooting one for 2 years now. Had to remove the extractor, which made it easier to cycle, but it runs better with European spec rimfire ammo. CCI SV is alright, but you do get some odd light primer strikes which are a nuisance during a bullseye match.

I agree that the old 602 is a fine rugged top level competition pistol, I own both an early 602 and an early 603. Once you understand the two stage trigger it is a wonder, the 603 May be better, it is definitely superior for Issf CF . If you shoot a lot - several thousand rounds a year then springs should be replaced annually and the buffers only seem to last about 5000 rounds. The originals tend to disintegrate, fall to powder which can make the pistol malfunction. I found that replacements cut from 3 mm polyvinyl sheet last considerably longer. Don’t ask where to get the PVC, it was forty years in the past. Great guns!
