Fast, inexpensive, inherently accurate 7mm-08 coyote load

sealhunter, to look for an inherently accurate load, can and quite often is, a pipe dream, in a rifle, that is built for heavier bullets.
Free bore, the distance the bullet, jumps to engage the lands can and most often does, kill accuracy. By going to a substantially shorter bullet, it can have a serious effect on accuracy. Some rifles, not most, are OK, most aren't. They may be OK at relatively short ranges but you must remember, a coyote has a cross section of about 6 inches at the lungs. The shoulder area, is slightly larger.
I don't know your capabilities, but my limitations, are about 400meters, with purpose built rifles. I like the idea of the 7mm diameter bullet, it is less likely to be frangible on coyote sized bodies. I personally use a 6.5x55, with 95gr, Hornady A-max. The rifle, has a very short throat. It was rechambered 3 times, with different throat lengths, to get the accuracy required.

If your rifle is accurate, with 140grain bullets, use them. As always, be careful of your downrange targets and what is behind them.

I was shooting to 500 yrds with my old coyote rig...

I'd like to use my 7mm-08 for coyotes as well as big game so as to use it as much as possible...

Right now I would not hesitate to 300-350yrds...

If I could 400- 450 yrds with a bit less drop, I'd be pleased...

Some loading manuals have accurate powders and bullets, those that do, do end up being more accurate. Barnes has it, not sure if they make a grenade or varmit bullet that is cheap tho.
