Prophet River, Wholesale Sports, Cabela Canada and FS Reloading each took my order this week and shipped within three days. I think that is great service.

He could be just super excited. I had Prophet River mail me out something just a few hours after paying them, they do have great service there. Haven't bought anything from the other guys the OP mentioned, though....

Thank you for the welcome. I am going to start reloading my 1936 Marlin .32 special which originally belonged to my Great Grandfather, also loading a Sako Forester .243 and a T/C .204. Bought the RockChucker, calipers, tools, manual, 2 die set for the .32 S, bullets and neck collets for the others. No powder or primers yet. I have yet to figuer out how to determine which primers are used. I have not loaded before. I am generally not considered a silly man but yes, this is fun and I did not see my original post come up.

Well then welcome to reloading too then! The reloading section of CGN is a great resource for posing questions on reloading, such as your primer question. I'd suggest running a search first before posing your questions. Change the default timeframe to 3 years instead of the default 2 weeks on the search screen. In your posts, try to Title them appropriately and keep them to the questions at hand.

As for getting into reloading, get a good manual or two or three. The ABCs of Reloading is a good first manual. The Lee, Hornady, and Lyman manuals are also good and frequently recommended. There are many others. Google is handy for finding info and youtube has many great videos on press setup and use.

Good luck!

Tom

as for reloading, if you are unsure of which primers you need to use, then i would highly recommend what magnum tom said.

Welcome!
