Bought this beautiful m38 for my father's upcoming 60th bday! I'm sure he will like it, and I can't believe how light and small it is so cool. Anyways onto the rifle...I bought it from Martin at Corwin Arms and am very happy with the quality of the rifle, best milsurp I have ever bought by far! So I would definitely recommend buying from Martin! Thank you Martin!

Also, are the serial numbers stamped or electro penciled? I'm a noob when it comes to this kinda stuff. Looks stamped to me.
 
Nice looking rifle...

Stamped, but looks like arsenal "re-stamped" - the old stamped serials buffed out, and re-stamped after refurb. No biggie there, 99% of the Mosins around nowadays are mixmaster refurbs. At least with the Polish arsenal refurbs, they did a proper re-stamping, instead of just scratching new serials with an electro pencil.
