Mark your calendar! Father Day Shoot at Winona (near Hamilton, Ontario) June 21
The Vintage Match has been re-scheduled. This is a fun shoot at 100, 200 and 300 yards. Lots of shooting. 120 rounds, minimum. Lots of prizes - vintage wine (hence the name of the shoot.)
In honour of Father’s Day – bring your dad to shoot, or bring one of your kids, and the ORA will waive the $20 entry fee. What a deal!
Rifle – Whatever you want to shoot. Service rifle, hunting rifle, target rifle, SKS, any milsurp. Note that the 100 yard is shot standing, so a varmint rifle with a 20X scope would not be so good (but it would be fine at 200 and 300). Inexperienced shooters (and kids) are welcome to shoot the 100 prone, off a sandbag.
