Has anyone had any experience with Fausti O/U shotguns? I'm presently using a Rem. 1100 for clays and am considering upgrading. I see some dealers showing a Fausti Conrad but that gun isn't shown on the company website. I do see an L4 Competition listed on the USA site but have not heard anything much about either gun. Any experience, good or bad, is appreciated. I do see on some U.S. that they are very good on warranty should problems arise.
Thanks

Suggest some more Internet research. I took a quick look at Fausti a few months ago. What is saw in reviews was that the workmanship/QC was terrible, all of the reviewers had problems with their guns and there was no warranty available in the USA. If I remember correctly, I was on Shotgun World.

I have a couple of friends who have the Conrad model, they've both had good luck with the guns but neither of them really shoot a lot. I'm not sure if QC is still an issue with them but they made sxs guns for Weatherby a few years ago and QC was definitely an issue then and Wby didn't stick with them very long. I think there's probably better guns in the same price range but if they turn your crank and your not looking for a high volume shooter then they may be just fine.

Might want to research them again, Fausti opened a USA division in the States and now offers there finer lines of shotguns to the North American market. The models that were offered over here in the past were mass produced guns for other companies and were built with a bottom dollar in mind for the customer to rebrand and turn a buck. The core line and boutique line that I've seen seem to be exceptional guns, in fact I just bought one.

Barbara and her husband (Rizzinni BTW) were at La Roue du Roy in 2014. Several people ordered shotguns. It took over 2 years to get them. The fit and finish were average for a high en shotgun.

Thanks all for the info. I saw what was shown at Fausti USA but can't seem to find out anything about what North Sylva in handling (they are apparently the Cdn Dist.). I will probably buy a Browning. Thanks again.

A club member has 20 ga Fausti conrad . It would be what I think of as field gun . Gun does look to be of good fit and finish . How much high volume shooting it would stand I can not say .
