Favorite 223 powder

The nice thing about the 223 is that depending on the rate of twist it will digest anything from 40 grain bullets up to over 100 grains and do it well.

Who makes a 100gr+ .224 bullet?

I get excellent results using IMR3031 with 69gn SMKs. It's my service rifle load. I use BLC2, and TAC with 77gn SMKs.

I only shoot light bullets so thus the faster powders for me.

IMR 8208 XBR is what I use. Very consistent at any temperature... easy to meter out.. good stuff

Using a 223 in F/class out to 900 metres the go to powder is Varget and 90 G. Berger VLD's
