Looking for proven effective methods for heavy copper build up in rifle barrels.

Always had great results with Bore Tech elminator and Cu2 copper remover.

I have been using kg12.

My go to for heavier copper fouling is Hoppes Copper Terminator and for real heavy fouling I use Sweets 7.62. I have found both products to work very well.

And, once you think it is cleaned with other products, give it a shot with WipeOut and let soak overnight. The patch in the morning tells the tale.

I use wipeout and when Its not coming clean when I start running out of patience I use my outers electrolisis unit and its amazing.

If it is really fouled I will first use JB Bore Cleaner on a copper brush... about 25 strokes using a bore guide... then any of the copper solvents... Sweets many years ago but today usually WipeOut. That produced the quickest method.

I’ve been having good results with Wipeout Tactical Advantage. Non corrosive and is okay to soak overnight. Did a wonderful job on an old Husqvarna 8x57 I have been working on.
