Thinking of painting a 10/22 wood stock in camo. This is purely for fun and will not have a practical use since my 10/22 is for plinking.

Leaning towards multi-cam

What do you all recommend: pics appreciated.

Love multicam but would't paint a gun in it.
My hunting rifle I started with a light sandy colour of Rust-oleum camouflage paint then layers/stripes of darker nature colours. Laid down some leaves during a few passes to give shape.
Really happy with results

I have a soft spot for the style used in British DPM / CAB Regt Smock.

First lite seems to be the hip new camo. I like light shades of camo for gun stocks sort of breaks up the shape. Just make sure you dont lean it next to anything in the bush you may lose it. ;)

You could even go urban camo, part no frills bag, ciggy butts and green!

Dont know what youd call it. Was going for the copperhead look but forgot the mesh for the scales. Anyway it blends well for fall woodlots. The 17mach2 is perfect for tree rats
