This thread would likely be more useful if people noted what they're rifle shooting, what they're using it for and the accuracy they're getting. Otherwise it's of little value to the reader. Someone shooting gongs at 300 yards + with a SAN will have different requirements than someone shooting gophers from 5-100 yards with a mini 14 and someone playing on the range shooting carbine matches with an AR has a completely different interests in ammo than the first two.

I like to know why no one is bringing in the Herters brand of steel cased non-corrosive ammo. It's made in Russia so it should be importable. It's really cheap at Cabelas in the USA.

I find AE extremely dirty, even the case, just oily and dirty. My hands are black after a few mags.

I far prefer the 1000 round cans of PMC

I have shot thousands of rounds of Norinco and it is good stuff. I have reloaded the brass over and over without a hitch too.

AE not really bulk but for $179/500 its pretty good.

Which retailer has it for that price???
