I've been trying to reduce the varietys of powders in my cabinet. Finally I am completely out of any powders suitable for .357 Mag loads.

So far I've used Unique, Blue Dot and Hercules 2400.

What is everyone's favorite powder for this cartridge?

Thanks for the catch on the error. Post edited.

BTW, same goes for 44 Mag anyway.

I shoot .38 Spl when I need mild loads for the .357 Mag.

H-110 or Win 296 for me.

All my loads are full power; why have a .357 Mag otherwise? :-0

Light loads to shoot indoors during the winter? Oh, one of the best offhand targets I ever shot was using my Python and light loads in .357 cases with Speer 148gr HB-WC. Shot better than similar loads using .38SPL cases. Now, and as its been a while since I've been inclined to shoot indoors, if I get the urge to shoot light loads, I shoot a smaller instead.;)

Titegroup works well for me. Easy to find and economical. Actually Titegroup is all I've been using for my handguns. (.45 ACP, 9mm and .357 Magnum)

HOWDY, my turn . If I had to choose one powder for all bullet weights and power level it would be UNIQUE. But if it was a full pwer all the time powder then winchester 296 or H110 are the choices.
