Fclass - Mirage band / raincover weight

Just finished installing my scope on my first Fclass rifle.
On my postal scale, I’m at 17lbs8oz.

Basically I have 1/2 pound allocated for raincover/mirage band.
Is that enough?
How much do these accessories weigh?

I have seen the ones made from a window blind slat attached with a couple small pieces of Velcro. On my target rifle with iron sights, I use a strip of black hockey tape along the top of the barrel.
 
As maynard mentioned.

I use a piece of black elastic attached w/ a bead key chain to the front sight & a formed piece of brass wire to a front receiver scope base on my open sight/prone rifles.
 
I got a piece of carbon fiber and weighs about 1.5oz velcro included.
Now have a 6oz allowance for rainshield, I’ll start working on that soon
 
You can also use coroplast... that stuff garage sale signs are made from that looks like carboard, but plastic.
