Federal AE223 red box or Federal American Eagle Tactical AE223 black box?

thanks, that's what I wanted to know......

the only other thing I was wondering is what is a mil spec primer for AR223? I imagine it's harder than normal because of the floating firing pin of an AR to prevent accidental slam fires.

I read somewhere online some people had misfires with the AR223 ammo because of the hard primers. also, not that it matters but some people were complaining about the spotty dirty looking brass casings

AE223 Red box is more consistent/accurate, AE223 black box Tactical is higher velocity and cheaper.

I just tried the federal AE black box 55 gr fmj 223 ammo in my savage bolt rifle and had my first ammo fail to fires. On average I found 1 out of 10 didn't fire, even though the firing pin left a definite dent in the primers. Anybody else had this problem with the american eagle?
On a more positive note, I found the american eagle rounds that did fire gave me better groups than the winchester white box ammo.
