Federal American Eagle handgun brass. Is it soft like their rifle brass?

I am not getting my 9mm reloading stuff for my dad's Dillon machine for a few weeks, and I want to shoot this weekend. I also have to build up my brass collection for when I do start reloading.

Silverdale, which is already about 25 minutes away from me only carries Federal AE 9mm (next farthest store is about 50 minutes). I have read numerous times on here lately that Federal's rifle brass is soft compared to Winchester's.

Does this apply to Federal's handgun cartridges too? For $15 a box, I want to at least make sure it will be good brass to reload with.

Federal's handgun brass is easier to resize than Winchester, so it might be softer.

For me it is good brass to reload with.

Federal is a good reloadable brass.

I've only lost two fingers as a result of Federal brass, so you should be good to go. Just kidding, seems okay to me, but I'm not a pro reloader.

I wouldn't reload them as many times as I would other brass, especially when loading high-pressure rounds like the 9mmPara.

I am in a similar situation.I need some 45acp for a new gun,and all that I can find locally is American Eagle.However,I did some checking at the 1911 forum,and supposedly the American Eagle ammunition and brass is of decent quality.

I have the most issues with Federal brass, sometimes their primer pockets are to small or off centre.
