wow that is a good deal! I have never used the federal bulk ammo before. I'll have to try it out on my rifle before I buy 2100 rounds of it though. So tempting to just order it ><

I don't know the shipping cost yet, If it's too high I'll just cancel the order. I'll know tomorrow. The last time I ordered ammo from them they were S.I.R. and shipping was really reasonable.

Was that a Farmers Co-op or something? Must be a Gopher thing as I haven't seen them close to $15 in years.

For me in Ontario its $110.67 to my door, I would rather save up another 100 bucks and get 5250 from SFRC, and I can pick that up (as well as shop around for other goodies!).

Or go to wallmart pick up the same amount of ammo @ $24/box last I saw and use the money that would have been spent on shipping to go pickup an ammo can from the Army surplus store here in town...

Now if they had a Cabelas in Toronto, that would be a different story. I am willing to make a trip to Lib land for ammo!

Cool, thanks for posting. Wouldn't mind getting 2 cans of it myself just for the ammo can. But shipping would be the deal breaker here. I'll check the Cabelas store in Edmonton anyways because it's only 2 minutes away from my house. Not the cheapest deal because I've seen Federal Champion 525 packs on sale at Cabelas for $16 quite a few times last year.

I just got back from Cabelas in Winnipeg. They were all out of the ammo cans, the ammo was $21.99 for 525 rounds, which is the normal price. I think the only ammo cans they had left were in .45 acp. They may have had one or two other calibers available. But it was slim pickings.

Wholesale used to have the 525 packs for 19.99 but they can't seem to get stock anymore. I have shamefully moved to buying ammo at Walmart, Winchester 550 packs for 18.99. I would almost buy one of these though for the ammo can(assuming no shipping).

Yeah, gopher season last year they dropped to $16-17 a box. I got a case at Jo Brook's spring sale/anniversary extravaganza last year (there was a madhouse) for $15.25 I think.
