Federal Euro Ammo Sale 9.3X62 8X57 JS 6.5X55 Swede 7X64 and Others Copper

I chronographed the EuroCopper 9.3 x 62 tonight. Muzzle velocity average was 2450 fps, the box said 2475 fps. Close enough! 16.2 sd, spread 49 fps. Used a Tikka T3X Lite with 22" barrel and this was two 4-shot groups with 30 min cooling in between. Both group sizes were about 1.5" at 100m, which I'm happy with in a big short-range gun like this. Time to buy more!

Thanks for the report!!!
9.3X62 has been the best seller but still a fair bit in stock.

I think your onto something because the federal box SKU numbers each say "CX" in the numbering nomenclature. Prophet river used to sell the hornady ECX boxes at 114.95$/box 🤣. Goes to show you how good a deal this euro copper stuff should be.

What was scope magnification used? Good shooting

Moor proof that it is indeed a hornady product in a federal packaging is that it doesn't use Federals typical blue primer scellant. No scellant to be found anywhere on this product line which is very very rare for Federal. I'm all for it, cause I don't like federal brass at all. Being hornady brass will be much more reloader friendly

Good observation. The packaging style and boxes are the same dimensions as hornady boxes too versus the typical federal. At the end of the day, it's still a good bullet at a fair price. More options on the market for European cartridges is a plus.

Tried some out. 8x57 box velocity 2600 fps. 5 shot averaged at 2612 fps. Shot great aswell. Gotta love when thier honest about velocity.
