On the ever hunt for rimfire ammo came across these and thought I'd try them out as the info I read seemed like they might be the real deal. 40grHP @ 1200fps with a cool nickel case and claiming match grade accuracy. This would compete with the Mini-mags and other HP HV ammo and maybe a step above. The bullet seems cool with a decent size hp and are in there solid, tips don't wiggle around like some other FC rounds. All fed and fired fine but had one not go off in the Ruger but fired next time. Tests were at 50yrds on couple different days, There seemed to be 1 or 2 flyers per box that I noticed.
Overall I think its a good quality round and would be fun in a gopher patch to see what they do to flesh. I hope to update once I try it in a coupe other ones, a NS522 and 10/22 which are scopeless at the moment. If your bored try some out!
This one seems to like HV ammo as have had good luck with a couple different kinds at 50 and 100yds so I was expecting good performance and did good
This is a new one, has about 250rds though it, I cleaned it and put 10 though and went to the target, as you can see the 1st group was larger then snugged up once it layed down some more lube in the barrel. I'd expect this to be in the 1/2" @ 50 challenge whenever I get around to it.
Ruger 77/22 Target, this is a 1/2@ 50 gun with center-x and decent with other sv stuff but don't seem to like any of the HV ones. This proved my theory as groups were larger and scattered a bit. which is ok as it shoots cci supressor real well so i'll use them for hunting.
