Federal GMM .308

That's odd. Do you reload at all? Perhaps some of the primers are not fully seated... you could fix this with a hand priming tool... very, very carefully.

Have you had ACTUAL hang-fires? Or just fail-to-fire problems?
 
Bought one K of 168 and one K of 175 last year and never have experience one discrepency with that ammo ( 600 of each)...
I shoot them in my Nemesis/TRG-22/SSG3000/FNAR/M1A and a dozen more 308...
You probably got a bad batch... JP.
 
I have never had a problem with 308 GMM but all my purchase were several years ago when I stock piled several cases when I determined this was my go to round and the prices were fairly decent considering the premium nature of the ammunition. To my recent knowledge we have not had any returned in our store for any reason. Phil.
 
I've probably shot 200 gmm 168 gr rounds since last week of august. Not a single issue, the brass is pretty decent too. On to firing 8 without annealing, so far not a single brass failure.
