Nope.

Lightning seems to have become champion, so we are switching the icture and description over.

they are lead

I have some fed champion & it is copper plated though it is hollow point not solid. I will be rather upset with federal if they have done away with the copper plated champ.

I believe if its in the bulk pack and the box itself says copper washed you're good. Other blue box champion is just lead.

As stated above, CanAm's is lead.

Prob got rid of the copper plated ones for the same reason the government is ditching the penny. Cost too much money to use copper.

The government got rid of the penny & half cent due to inflation not the price of copper. Would have been further head with shifting the decimal over a couple of places and calling the currency the new Canadian dollar. That would have bought us about 90 years. Getting rid of the penny buys 15-20 before the nickel is gone another 10 for quarter.

Not to hijack the thread (further), but we'd also be far better off if we let The Bank of Canada issue our debt instead of private banks. Probably a good idea to let our dollar rise in value as well, increase the base interest rate and throw the central bankers out of the country.

Re: the ammo... I was told to always wash my hands with cold water. Never told the reason but I'd assume it's to not open up pores etc. with hot water?

I do think that canAM is right when he says you have more to fear from the aerosolized stuff from the primer or the base of bullet created when firing said round. If you've been playing with lead or alpha emitters washing your hands before eating/meal prep is likely a good idea. The OP has kids which can be more sensitive to effects of heavy metal poisoning. The rest of us are unlikely to be in contact with enough to show symptoms.
