Anyone shoot these? I can't believe how soft they are. Anyone know where to get them in S. Ontario? I would take a guess at 120-$130 a flat. Am I close?

I shot them for years when they were available. I haven't seen federal papers for long time. I'd also be interested in how much they are, if they're still available.

I found some at Lawry Shooting Sports in Caledonia. Less than I thought $90 a flat.

Shot a lot of Federal papers as well...and again, the softest shooting 3 dram target load ever. Used them mostly for high volume crows shoots and ruffed grouse. Would never waste them on the trap range. Back in the 1980's a friend was a broker and would bring them up from the US by the case. Case was 500 rounds those days not the flats of today. Still have better part of a case left and use them sparingly for "cultured shooting"! I would love to get my hands on some more of those sweet smelling baby's.

I have about 4 flats saved up and a bunch of once fired hulls. I bought two flats about 4 years ago for $152.00 taxes in from Lawry's. There are a few guys around that still shoot them. As Win said, Lawry's should still stock them.

Shouldn't be hard to figure out, most shotshell manuals have loads for them using the same primers and wads(12C1) as the factory loads, and rated the same dram equiv. If I remember correctly, the pressure is lower then most plastic hulls, but it may not be because of the paper, it may be that they are a spacious hull.

I used them in the Late 80's and 90's very gentle load i did manage to get 2-3 reloads out of each hull at the time a lot of shooters used them and let the hulls hit the ground I bought many 1000's for reloading I may still have a Few around .
