Anyone here shoot federal premium gold medal match 175gr ? What's your opinions on it is it a quality cartridge?

I shoot a lot of it . If you can , buy bulk by the lot . It can vary from lot to lot , "can" not necessarily does and if there is a variance it's slight . There are dealers who will steeply discount if you buy bulk like Ellwood Epps although i haven't bought in quite some time . When you move to a new lot test it on the range and over the chrono as it doesn't take too many rounds fired to gather the data for your ballistic program and then true it .

Ok just looking for a suitable replacement for S&B 168gr match that I was using consistent (1/2 Moa) ... only stopped using it because no one sells it where I'm living now but they do have federal.

Best factory ammo I know of. Reloading may improve or may be a step down depending on your skill and attention to detail.

175 Federal GMM is very accurate ammunition. On the plus side you can expect 1.0 to 0.5, or maybe better in a quality precision rifle if you do your part. On the negative side, it is very expensive and hard to find at most Canadian retailers. Even if you buy in bulk, the cost will probably be over $2.00 a shot. Realistically closer to $3.00 a shot judging from the retail prices I have seen recently. It is not common to see this ammo advertised for sale in bulk.

45$ and less a box is piddlings to me. I'm set up to reload finally as well so may start experimenting a bit with it. I think this box cost me 40$ and I have tons of S&B match casings hoarded up for reloading, and a few boxs hoarded aside because it just works so well. I found a good source of federal premium gold medal match in 175gr loads yesterday.
