Federal primers in Lee Safety Prime...safe??

Someone told me at a gun store that Federal bought out CCI if that is true would the primers be the same

???? Just because one company buys another doesn't mean that they change their product. Like when Labatt's bought out Lakeport.

ATK is the parent company for Federal, CCI, Lake City Arsenals, Speer et al. They are running them as separate companies, which is good.

I've been using Federal primers in the Lee Auto Prime for 25 years without incident.
