I am thinking of buying a 12gauge model with 20" barrel for a grouse gun. I imagine a few people have one on here. I am a little gunshy, as I bought a similar shotgun from Revolution Armoury last year and it shot low for me. I ended up selling it. I like the concept, just want something light and hits where you point it. I know the fit thing is subjective, but most shotguns I have owned hit where you point and this particular one did not. I used to have one of those Sinsinatti shotguns with 28" barrel and that thing was deadly, wish I never sold it.

As a general rule ... the shorter the barrel, the higher the gun will shoot ..... and the longer the barrel the lower the gun will shot!
Unfortunately you will only know where that gun shoots for you once you have pattern tested it .....
That's what we call a "test drive"! You buy the gun .... try it out ... and if it does not fit .... sell it!

As you stated, the fit is a subjective thing but it's a lot easier to bring the pattern up than it is to lower the pattern. Did you try building up the comb a bit to see if that raised the pattern before selling?
