Feedback for TNA WK180-C Straight/Flared Magwell Adapter

Instead of all these half baked "fixes" why don't the companies manufacturing these 180 rifles / lowers just make them with a decent magwell to begin with. The fact that there is demand for this half baked "fix" is proof that people want their 180 rifle to have a decent magwell.

The only one I've seen that properly addresses this issue is the one coming out from Sterling Arms. They have listened to what people want and as far as I'm concerned they are going to deliver what people want.

Anything else is just lipstick on a pig.

Harsh much? Not everyone can afford a brand new lower right away. This is a good inexpensive alternative until someone can do so. If you want a lower with the straight flared magwell built in, as well as support for beavertail stocks, you can order the TNA Enhanced WK lower , https://truenortharms.com/ar15_default_store_view/tna-enhanced-wk180-c-lower-receiver.html .

I HAVE ordered both a TNA upper and lower. The magwell may be better than a standard WK but, I can not for the life of me understand why they didn't just extend the damn magwell to better resemble an AR. Maybe to try to avoid FRT ban? Who knows really. But it looks awful in comparison to the R18 lower

This is a 3d model I worked up of my rifle build while I wait for parts to trickle in. As you can see the magwell is still wonky. All they had to do is extend it to the trigger guard and raise the front of the magwell up a hair and it would have looked 100x better

I won't pollute your thread anymore as its not on topic and I'm also curious about the magwell.

I may design one myself (integrated trigger guard and magwell extension) and have something CNC'd for my rifle if the magwell ends up bothering me

Harsh or not, he is right. Why these none of these rifles didn't come with a proper magwell is beyond me. The "so they don't ban it" theory is retarded. If anyone thinks these rifles wouldn't be banned because of a magwell angle they are truly f***ed in the head. I'm talking paint chip eating, beaten on the head, inbred parents stupid.
