Looking to use Backwoods Gunsmithing in Rutherglen, Ontario for a finish job on my 308 build. Looking to get a work green to tan finish done on the stock. Any feedback on their Gunkote or Cerakote work would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Ben

Run! As fast as you can!!!!!! The guy is a butcher and knows absolutely nothing about guns. If you have any questions, pm me. I don't care if I get banned for posting this. He really has no idea and will ruin your gun.

Wow - pretty wicked indictment. Given that there are tons of places to use why not use someone better known. BTW, in my opinion Cerakote is the better of the two.

I've read accounts of this to back this up as well.

There was a Swiss Arms they did. Well the guy that owned it ended up making 2 posts, and it took almost close to a year to finally get it back. At first I was a fool for not knowing this company. Then he was a fool because took soo long.

There was calls and emails. And basically it was harp me one more time and I'm not doing it and get to it when I do.

I wouldnt send nothing to him.
