Hi all,
I'm looking for an upland bird gun for club shooting in southern Ontario. The club where I shoot recently adopted hinge gun only rules which excludes my auto 5s which I shoot so well, and they supply only 2 3/4" 20ga 1oz #6 loads (typically they provide Kent). A tiny restrictive I know, but that load gets it done for the type of hunts that they offer. In that regard I don't think that the 2 3/4" only chamber would be a problem, I only handload that length anyway. I ran across the subject shotgun and would appreciate some feedback if anyone has any. I would appreciate a light gun, however considering the weight and the aluminum alloy receiver, is the 1oz load excessively stout for that action under sustained use? Thanks to all! Bill
